Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper has hailed his team for their "outstanding" performance during Saturday's victory over Bristol City.
The Robins ended City's unbeaten start to the League One season as Michael Smith's strike saw them win an ill-tempered local derby at the County Ground.
The visitors had Wade Elliott sent off inside the opening few minutes before Smith found the net 12 minutes from time to earn Swindon the spoils.
"I think it was an outstanding spectacle, I thought the atmosphere was tremendous. I didn't want it to end," Cooper told BBC Sport.
"Our players had to show a different side because when the referee sends Wade Elliott off in the early moments it then becomes a different game. First half we needed to be more patient, we didn't create enough. Second half I thought we were brilliant."
Swindon continue their League One campaign next Saturday when they travel to Peterborough United.
