Swindon Town striker Jonathan Obika out for up to three months

Swindon Town reveal that striker Jonathan Obika is expected to be sidelined for up to three months with a shoulder injury.

Swindon Town have confirmed that striker Jonathan Obika could be out of action for up to three months with a shoulder injury.

The 24-year-old, who has scored five goals in five games this season, suffered the problem on Saturday during his side's win over Barnsley.

A club statement read: "Jonathan Obika has damaged the joint at the top of his shoulder and could be out of action for up to 12 weeks, subject to the opinion of a specialist who will assess the striker on Wednesday."

Swindon return to League One action this Saturday with a trip to Leyton Orient.
