Valencia have reportedly joined the race to sign France international Mathieu Valbuena from Marseille.
The 29-year-old has been with Marseille since 2006, but it is understood that the attacker is keen to seek pastures new this summer.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest, but according to L'Equipe, Valencia have emerged as the favourites to sign the wide player.
The Spanish outfit have transfer funds to spend this summer after Singaporean businessman Peter Lim's purchase of the club.
Valbuena is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup.
