Rickie Lambert: 'Partnership with Berahino will be great'

Striker Rickie Lambert predicts that he and Saido Berahino will be a "great partnership" for West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion signing Rickie Lambert has insisted that he and Saido Berahino will be a "great partnership" this season.

The 33-year-old joined the club from Liverpool last week and is expected to partner Berahino in the early weeks of the new campaign.

He told reporters: "[Berahino] is a very sharp player, very intelligent, very quick and is a good finisher. I think me and Saido up top will be a great partnership and that is another reason why I am looking forward to being a West Brom player."

Lambert could make his West Brom debut against Manchester City on Monday night.
