Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has insisted that nearby West Bromwich Albion have not been in contact over a possible move for Bakary Sako.
The winger, who is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Wolves could try to cash in on him this month instead of letting him go for free in the summer, but Jackett is certain that the "situation hasn't changed".
"There's a lot of talk about him at the moment but the situation hasn't changed. There's been no contact," Jackett told BBC WM.
"We've had no bid. Whether there's one imminent, I don't know."
The 26-year-old is Wolves' top goalscorer this season with seven in the Championship.
