West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine has reportedly rejected the opportunity to loan out Chris Baird.
The 32-year-old joined the Baggies on a free transfer in the summer, but has struggled to break into the side on a regular basis under Irvine.
Recent reports had suggested that Fulham were interested in signing Baird, who made over 150 appearances for the club before leaving Craven Cottage in 2013.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Fulham had approached West Brom about a loan move, but Irvine was unwilling to allow the experienced defender to leave.
The report claims that Baird could be allowed to re-join Fulham in the January transfer window if Irvine makes changes to his squad.
