West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has denied reports that the club have launched a £31.5m bid for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
Tottenham Hotspur and Serie A giants Juventus have also been linked with summer moves for the 22-year-old.
However, recent reports have claimed that the Hammers have attempted to beat their rivals by lodging a big-money move for Batshuayi.
Bilic told reporters: "Batshuayi is a top striker who plays for a big club, scoring goals there. He's been playing at top level for a few years.
"He's a very good player, but that's all I can say at this moment. It is simply not true that we have made a bid."
The forward has scored 21 goals in all competitions this season.
