Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion hold Wigan Athletic

Both teams cancel each other out as Brighton hold Wigan Athletic to a half-time draw at the DW Stadium in the Championship.

Brighton & Hove Albion have held Wigan Athletic to a goalless half-time draw at the DW Stadium in the Championship this afternoon.

The hosts started the brighter but, despite enjoying a wealth of possession, Owen Coyle's men struggled to forge the opportunities necessary to open the scoring.

Manchester United starlet Nick Powell found himself with the best chance of the half, only to be denied from close range by former Red Devils goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Kuszczak's intervention would prove enough to earn the Seasiders a draw at half time.
