Wigan Athletic have ended an eight-game losing streak in the Premier League with a 3-3 draw against Blackburn Rovers.
Blackburn got their only goal of the first half out of the way early as Ayegbeni Yakubu scored with an assist from Steven Nzonzi after just 67 seconds.
Wigan's Jordi Gomez responded five minutes later to equalise before skipper Gary Caldwell gave the Latics a goal's lead on the half hour mark.
Rovers' David Dunn was given his marching orders two minutes after the restart following a challenge on Mohamed Diame. Despite the numerical disadvantage, David Hoilett squared the score on the hour, heading in off Morten Gamst Pedersen's cross.
However, Albert Crusat gave Roberto Martinez's side further goal in the 88th minute.
Wigan seemed poised to take all three points until Yakubu levelled the scores once more with a penalty in the ninth minute of injury time.
The result leaves Blackburn and Wigan in 19th and 20th places in the Premier League table, with seven and six points respectively.
