Wolverhampton Wanderers could move for Southampton defender Cedric Soares this summer, according to a report.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Southampton defender Cedric Soares in this summer's transfer window.

Cedric is currently on loan at Inter Milan, but it is understood that the Italian giants are not interested in a permanent deal for the Portugal international.

According to Tuttomercato, Wolves are closely monitoring developments surrounding the right-back and could make an offer at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 27-year-old joined Southampton from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2015.

Cedric has made 118 appearances for the Saints in all competitions, including 22 in the first half of the 2018-19 campaign ahead of a switch to Inter.

Wolves have also been linked with a surprise swoop for Manchester City centre-back Nicolas Otamendi.
