Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Bristol City defender Joe Bryan as a possible summer signing.
Bryan has established himself as one of City's key men, but it appears that the Englishman could leave Ashton Gate this summer due to just one year remaining on his contract.
Burnley have been strongly linked with a move for the versatile 24-year-old, but according to the Bristol Post, Wolves are considering an approach of their own.
Wolves are allegedly close to pushing through a deal to loan Spanish full-back Jonny Castro, but Bryan could remain a realistic target for the Premier League side depending on their desire to spend a club-record fee on Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Like Zinchenko, Bryan can be used at wing-back and in central midfield, while the player would cost half the price of the Ukraine international.
Bryan has scored 20 goals from 229 appearances during his seven years with Bristol City.
