Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has revealed that he is confident of ending his long drought without a Formula 1 win this season.
The Brazilian was not won a race since triumphing at the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2008, while he has had to play second fiddle to teammate Fernando Alonso in recent seasons.
"We need to be confident and I am very confident. We need to keep our feet on the ground as well. We did great work on the car from last year to this year, but there's a lot to do to get the evolution right and make it more competitive," he told AutoSport.
"I think if we carry on in this direction, the chance for winning races and fighting for the championship is there."
Massa finished fifth at the Malaysian Grand Prix last weekend.
