Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has admitted that he 'made mistakes' in qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix today.
The 34-year-old ran wide in Q2 at Monza leaving him down in 12th, however he will start 11th after Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat was forced to take a 10-place grid penalty after selecting a new engine ahead of qualifying.
"The car was a bit tricky and I made some mistakes because of that," Raikkonen told Sky Sports News.
"It's been a good weekend apart from the qualifying so hopefully we find something and can be strong tomorrow."
Lewis Hamilton claimed pole position ahead of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg for tomorrow's race.
