Kimi Raikkonen has insisted that being older has not made him a slower racer in Formula 1.
The Finn, who won the world title with the Scuderia in 2007, re-joined Ferrari in 2014, but has struggled to match the form of his teammate Sebastian Vettel this season.
However, the 35-year-old is adamant that his driving has not changed, although the sport itself has.
He is quoted by ESPN as saying: "Has it changed me a lot? I don't think it has changed my driving at all. With age you get some experience, but does it count much in F1? I don't know.
"I don't feel that I have changed as a driver and how I do my stuff.
"Hopefully life goes on and things keep changing, but I don't see any difference in how I'm driving now and five years ago. Things have changed in the sport itself more than in me."
Raikkonen qualified second for last weekend's Italian Grand Prix, but a poor start saw him drop back down the field before finishing fifth.
