Haas has been instructed by a court to dispatch one of the Formula 1 cars driven by Nikita Mazepin in 2021 to their erstwhile main sponsor, Uralkali.
Following a recent ruling by a Swiss arbitration court, the dispute between Uralkali and Haas intensified after the Russian fertilizer giant sought reimbursement of sponsorship funds from Haas.
Both Mazepin and Uralkali were dismissed by Haas at the onset of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022.
According to the Tass news agency, the complete ruling of the Swiss arbitration court mandated the reimbursement of the sponsorship funds and the delivery of a complete 2021 Haas Formula 1 car.
"Uralkali hopes that Haas will comply with the tribunal's decision and return the racing car within the established time frame, and also pay the outstanding debt as soon as possible," stated a representative for Uralkali.
It was reported that Uralkali has also sent a letter to Haas outlining the delivery details for the 2021 car, with a specified deadline of July 13.
