The Italian Grand Prix is reportedly set to stay at Monza after the venue agreed a new contract.
The historic race was under threat when talks over a new deal stalled as the venue refused to pay the race fee.
However, Autosport claims that a financial package has been passed by Italy's Senate budget committee, and a deal is imminent.
Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone told the magazine: "This is obviously good news. Let's hope they can do what they hope they can do.
"We're happy and we want to continue at Monza, that is for sure, but we want to do so on the same sort of terms other people pay in Europe because there are no concessions, not at all."
The Italian Grand Prix has been a fixture on the F1 calendar since the sport's inception in 1950, and has taken place at Monza in all but one year.
