Lewis Hamilton has claimed pole position at the British Grand Prix for a record sixth time.
There was just 0.098s between the top three drivers, with Hamilton finishing just ahead of championship leader Sebastian Vettel, who had strapping on a neck injury, and his Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen.
The Mercedes driver was behind Vettel after their first runs in the top 10 shootout, but snatched top spot from his rival with his last lap at Silverstone.
Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas claimed fourth position, with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen making up the top five on Saturday afternoon.
Haas were again the best of the rest, meanwhile, with Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean finishing seventh and eighth respectively, with Sauber's Charles Leclerc and Force India's Esteban Ocon also in the top 10.
