Max Verstappen has hit back at Felipe Massa after the Brazilian criticised the Toro Rosso driver following his Monaco Grand Prix crash.
The Dutch teenager collided with Romain Grosjean's Lotus in Monte Carlo two weeks ago, with Massa branding Verstappen's driving "dangerous".
Massa also suggested that the 17-year-old was too inexperienced for F1, but Verstappen has since responded to those claims.
Verstappen is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Everyone can have their opinion, but look at my data and I didn't brake any later, I have braked later in the race before that.
"The lap I crashed, [my braking] was exactly the same as the lap before and, well, I got my penalty and now I am focusing on Canada. Maybe you should review the race from last year and see what happened there."
The incident Verstappen is referring to regards Massa's crash with Sergio Perez in Canada last season.
