Rory McIlroy has praised the impact of captain Paul McGinley following Europe's Ryder Cup triumph.
Having led 10-6 heading into the final day of action, McIlroy led the charge as Europe racked up the points needed to claim the crown for a 10th time.
"I can't say enough about our captain Paul McGinley," the Northern Irishman told Sky Sports News. "He's put so much hard work into this the last two years.
"This is a different win to Medinah. We were in control the whole way. The three wins I've been involved in have been very different wins. I'm just delighted to be able to join in these celebrations."
Europe have now won eight of the last 10 meetings with USA.
