Matt Fitzpatrick has won his seventh European Tour title by claiming the Andalucia Masters at Valderrama.
Despite spending rounds two and three towards the top of the leaderboard, the Englishman went into the final 18 holes trailing compatriot Laurie Canter.
However, at a time when his fellow Englishman and other rivals faltered, the world number 28 recorded two birdies and failed to drop a shot on Sunday ahead of the 18th hole.
That was enough to give him a three-shot lead, easing any pressure on his shoulders as he posted a par to secure an impressive win on one of the tour's toughest courses.
Sweden's Sebastian Soderberg and Australia's Min Woo Lee finished in a share of second with Canter one of seven players to end the tournament in a tie for fourth.
American John Catlin, the defending champion, shot a final-round 67 to conclude the competition in 11th place.
