Rory McIlroy aims to win two more Majors this year

Rory McIlroy targets success in two more Majors during the current season.

World number one Rory McIlroy has set his sights on two more Major titles in 2015.

There are three Majors remaining this season, and the Northern Irishman fancies his chances at The Open and the US PGA Championship.

"I'm just trying to win as much as I can," Sky Sports News quotes McIlroy as saying. "There are three Majors left and I feel two of those venues could suit me - St Andrews [The Open] and Whistling Straits [US PGA Championship].

"Chambers Bay at the US Open is a bit of an unknown quantity. But there are two great opportunities for Major titles and a lot of other opportunities for wins.

"I'd also like to increase my lead in the world ranking."

McIlroy is in action at the BMW PGA Championships this week, defending his title in Surrey.
