Tiger Woods has spoken of his desire to keep up his current form after regaining the world number one spot earlier today.
Woods returned to the top of the world rankings for the first time since October 2010 by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational by two shots this afternoon, his eighth title at Bay Hill.
The 37-year-old has now won three events from five starts this season, and he is excited about what the rest of the year holds for him.
"I've turned some of the weaknesses that I had last year into strengths. I'm really excited about the rest of this year," he told reporters.
"The very beginning of the year I was excited because of how the end of last year turned. My short game came around, I thought my swing was getting better, my short irons got better, lo and behold, I won a few tournaments this year."
By the winning the event for the eighth time, Woods equalled Sam Snead's record of wins at a single PGA Tour event.
