Rory McIlroy has reflected on his "incredible" summer after winning the US PGA Championship to seal a second Major title in the space of a month.
McIlroy followed his success at the Open Championship in July by carding a final-round 68 in Valhalla to pip Phil Mickelson to the Wanamaker Trophy by one stroke.
Consequently, the world number one - who also shot to victory in last week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational - becomes the first man since Padraig Harrington in 2008 to win back-to-back Majors.
"It's been just incredible," he told CBS Sports after this morning's win. "I didn't think in my wildest dreams I'd have a summer like this."
Henrik Stenson and Rickie Fowler finished joint-third in Valhalla on 14 under par, two shots behind the Northern Irishman.
