Adam Scott has said that the weather break halted his momentum during the first round of the US PGA Championship at Oak Hill.
The Australian had shot five birdies in a row before the players were dragged off course for 70 minutes due to the threat of lightning.
"I was hot when the rain came," he told reporters.
"Your first shot [back] is a little tough. I pulled it and then just had to go and do the whole settling down thing again like teeing off at the first.
"I was going along nicely, I still felt. It's always tough with a rain delay like that when you're playing really well."
The Masters champion shares the lead with Jim Furyk on five-under-par.
