Lee Westwood holds a slender one-up lead over Matt Kuchar at the halfway stage of their Ryder Cup singles encounter.
Kuchar missed a putt for par at the fourth, conceding the advantage to Westwood, who drained his chance.
The tables turned at the sixth, when Kuchar found that a par was enough to square the match.
Neither player was playing particularly great, and that was summed up when Westwood went back in front thanks to another missed par putt from Kuchar at the ninth.
