Sergio Garcia: 'US Open deserves better greens'

Sergio Garcia criticises the quality of the greens at the US Open.

Sergio Garcia has criticised the quality of the US Open course.

Chambers Bay has also been slammed by several participants, including three-time US Open runner-up Colin Montgomerie.

"A championship of the calibre of the US Open deserves better quality green surfaces," Garcia said on Twitter.

"If my problem is saying what everyone thinks but they don't have the guts to say it, then I'm guilty of that for sure."

Garcia is currently 10 shots off the pace at five-over.
