Team England's Nile Wilson has claimed a silver medal in the parallel bars event at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
The 22-year-old posted an impressive score of 14.533 with his routine but that figure was then matched by Cyprus's Marios Georgiou, whose better execution score earned him the gold instead.
Georgiou was also on hand to break Team England hearts yesterday when he dethroned Max Whitlock as champion of the floor routine.
Wilson's teammate James Hall managed a score of 14.100 but that was not enough to make it enough onto the podium, Scotland's Frank Baines instead taking bronze with a score of 14.400.
Wales's representative in the event, 21-year-old Iwan Mepham, finished last after he could only manage a score of 12.366.
Wilson, who also won silver in the parallel bars in Glasgow four years ago, is back in action shortly for the uneven bars final.
