Team GB acrobatic gymnast Jennifer Bailey has insisted that she and teammates Josie Russell and Cicely Irwin are still capable of winning a medal at the European Games after failing to make the podium in the all-around final.
A sixth-place finish was not enough for the trio on Friday as Belgium, Russia and Belarus all triumphed in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.
However, the Brits still have a chance of leaving the competition with medals this Saturday when they participate in the balance and dynamic finals.
"We're looking forward to the next day of competition and hopefully we can go further than today, but we know there's still a lot of hard work to do," Bailey told Sports Mole.
Bailey, who took part in last year's World Championships, has two British Championship titles to her name.
