Team GB have had to settle for a spot as first reserves for the aerobic groups final at the European Games after finishing seventh in qualifying this afternoon.
Ella Augier, Chloe Farrance, Olivia Farrance, Sophie Goves and Kayleigh Silva needed to finish in the top six to go through to Sunday's final in Baku, but their score of 19.161 left them just short.
Italy claimed the final spot for a chance to medal with a score of 19.600, while Romania posted the best score, finishing well clear of the field with 21.094.
Spain, Hungary, the Russian Federation and France also progressed.
