The 23-year-old, who was the flag bearer for Wales at the opening ceremony, picked up a small penalty during her routine, allowing Bezzoubenko to clinch top spot and the gold medal.

Malaysia's Wong San Poh completed the podium, while Jones's Wales teammate Laura Halford finished fifth.

The silver is Jones's third of the games, and matches her second-place finish in the same competition in Delhi four years ago.
