Silver-bronze medal double for Team Wales in rhythmic gymnastics

Team Wales have tasted double success in the individual all-round rhythmic gymnastics event at the Commonwealth Games, taking a silver and bronze medal.

Boosted by their silver-medal performance in the women's team discipline last night, Francesca Jones and Laura Halford kept their cool in the final ribbon section to seal a silver-bronze finish for Wales.

Patricia Bezzoubenko of Canada took gold following a dominant display at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow.

The 17-year-old gymnast is competing at her first Commonwealth Games.
