Great Britain held by Spain in second Test

Great Britain's women ensure that they can't lose the three-Test series with Spain after drawing 1-1 in Valencia on Wednesday.

Great Britain have been held to a 1-1 draw with Spain in the second Test in Valencia.

After winning 1-0 on Tuesday, Great Britain looked on course for a second successive victory when Alex Danson netted a fourth-minute goal.

However, shortly before the midway point, the hosts equalised through Lola Riera Zuzuarregui as they looked to take the series to a deciding match on Friday.

England finished the stronger though, and although they couldn't force a winner, they will take part in the third game knowing that the series has already been wrapped up.

The three fixtures are acting as preparation for the World League semi-finals in the summer, where a number of teams will attempt to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
