Barry Middleton frustrated with Great Britain's draw with Ireland

Great Britain men's captain Barry Middleton reveals his frustration after his side's second successive draw in the World League semi-finals.

Great Britain men's captain Barry Middleton has admitted that his side need to perform for longer periods after they let slip a lead for the second successive match.

After drawing 2-2 with Belgium, Team GB failed to capitalise on a two-goal advantage against Ireland before eventually recording another 2-2 stalemate, and Middleton has revealed his frustration after failing to build on two strong starts.

The 31-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "It's frustrating because in both games, we have been ahead and they have come back and got draws.

"We just needed to do a few things a little better when they had to come out and press us. We didn't quite do it as well as we wanted to and we probably weren't quite as good as we can be."

Team GB will next play China on Thursday.
