Team England's Danny Williams has won the gold in the men's -73kg judo by defeating New Zealand's Adrian Leat at the Commonwealth Games.

The 25-year-old won the bout with a Waza-ari throw in the first minute of the match and managed to hold out for the victory.
Williams's win was the fourth gold medal triumph on the mat and the country's eighth gold medal of the Games.
The bronze medals were claimed by South Africa's Jacques van Zyl and Australia's Jake Bensted.
