Dan Ryan has been appointed as the new head coach of Manchester Thunder.
Earlier this year, previous boss Tracey Neville was placed in charge of the England national team, but agreed to continue her duties with the Thunder until the end of the campaign.
However, with Neville now linking up with England on a full-time basis before this year's World Cup, the North-West outfit have moved to appoint Ryan, who has recently been assistant coach at the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
The 31-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Tracey's had brilliant success during her time and I feel really privileged to be in a position to hopefully achieve more success."
Ryan currently plays goal attack for the Australia men's side.
