Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner has described his arrest for drink-driving as 'the worst day of his life'.
The on-loan Arsenal forward, who was suspended from the Denmark national team for six months following the incident, described it as his lowest point.
"I can truly say, that this is the worst day of my life," he told reporters outside a Danish court.
"I am incredibly sorry for my actions. At the same time I take full responsibility for it, for what I have done, but I must go on. I cannot describe how much pain I am going through, but now I want to do all I can to come back strong."
Bendtner has scored 22 goals in 55 games for his national side.
