New Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has taken jokes about his dress sense lightly after he was asked about his gilet during a recent press conference.
The 46-year-old, who donned the clothing item regularly during a five-month stint as Tottenham Hotspur boss, was unveiled to the press for the first time since being appointed Villa manager last weekend.
Upon arriving at the news conference wearing a suit and v-neck jumper, a reporter asked him if he missed the gilet, to which he responded: "Fucking hell, I thought it would be two seconds before I heard a gilet joke. It was one!"
Sherwood was appointed by Villa following the sacking of Paul Lambert.
