New Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has said that he is excited to work with Jack Grealish, labelling the Irishman as "one of the best young talents".
Grealish failed to get much game time under previous manager Paul Lambert, and he almost joined Nottingham Forest on loan last month, but Sherwood has hinted that the 19-year-old has a part to play in the final few months of this season.
He told reporters: "I know [Grealish] from youth football. I haven't seen him on the training field but I know he is a talented boy and potentially one of the best young talents. He's in the first team squad at the moment so I am very excited to have a look at him and learn more about him.
"Everyone in the squad has got an important part to play."
Villa currently sit 18th in the Premier League table.
