Former Scotland footballer Colin Hendry has been banned from driving for 17 months after being found guilty of drink-driving.
The 49-year-old, who played for Blackburn Rovers during his career, had initially challenged the charge in relation to an incident in Lancashire.
Hendry's lawyers argued that the amount of alcohol that he drank did not match the reading of 63 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath that was collected by the police.
The legal limit in England is 35 micrograms, and Blackpool Magistrates' Court heard that the evidence provided was correct, which has resulted in a £110 fine as well as £200 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £20 for Hendry, according to ITV News.
Hendry was driving a blue Ford Focus in Church Road, Lytham when he was stopped by police at 1.05am on February 21.
