The Corinthians team decided to pay tribute to Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna by wearing racing helmets before their Brazilian cup clash against Nacional AM.
On Wednesday evening, the players lined up on the field wearing green and yellow helmets in respect of the 20th anniversary of Senna's passing.
The former world champion, who was a Corinthians supporter, died at the age of 34 as a result of a crash during the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.
The players, who went on to win the game 3-0, received a round of applause from the crowd when they carried out the gesture.
