British number one tennis star Andy Murray risked getting his Davis Cup teammate Dominic Inglot in trouble by claiming live on air that he had a "little girlfriend on the go" in Glasgow.
After the Scotsman helped book Great Britain's place in the world group quarter-finals by sealing a straight-sets victory over John Isner, Annabel Croft interviewed the team on Eurosport.
During the TV chat, Murray revealed that Inglot might be spending some time with a female companion in Glasgow, but the player responded by telling viewers that he already has a girlfriend at home.
According to the Daily Mail, Murray was not aware that his teammate was already in a relationship, while a spokesperson for the Lawn Tennis Association told the publication that it was just "banter" between the pair.
