England goalkeeper Joe Hart has revealed that he was hit with a marker pen and toilet roll during his side's draw against Montenegro.
The 25-year-old, who let in an equaliser with 13 minutes to play during the Three Lions' 1-1 draw on Tuesday, has claimed that getting hit by objects is all part of the game.
"You get all sorts of things thrown at you," the Daily Mail quotes Hart as saying. "It was a lighter. There was a marker pen, all sorts! Anything they have to hand. A big bottle of Evian!
"Some loo roll pinged off my head and wrapped round my shoulder, but it's not going to kill you, is it? It's not ideal, but that's the beauty of football."
Meanwhile, FIFA are thought to be investigating claims of crowd behaviour.
