Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore has paid £6,000 to replace a camera he broke while celebrating yesterday's opening goal in his side's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion and has matched the fee with a donation to charity.
Livermore kicked the camera in celebration of his opener, but soon received a tweet from the disgruntled owner of the camera which read: "Dear @29_JL where do you want me to send the repair bill?"
Richard Heathcote then sent another tweet and Livermore subsequently apologised and promised a refund, while pledging the same amount to charity.
@rheathcote apologies mate will sort camera no problem, and donate same amount to http://t.co/abzDBgNFeY #celebrationneedswork 📷 #sorry
