Los Angeles Galaxy have reportedly offered new signing Steven Gerrard a £16.8m mansion in Malibu.

The MLS club will accommodate the Liverpool captain when he moves to the United States in June following a 25-year career on Merseyside.

According to the Daily Star, LA Galaxy will pay the £13,440-a-week rent for Gerrard and his family to live in the ocean-view property, which includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an exercise room and a three-car garage.

The former England captain will move to LA with his wife Alex and their three daughters - Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, eight and three-year-old Lourdes.

Gerrard has agreed an 18-month deal with the MLS club.
