Liverpool legend John Aldridge has revealed his anger after a television interview was "hijacked" by a national newspaper.
The former striker fielded questions about the Reds to a television broadcaster before his words were later used by a paper that is believed to be The Sun.
Aldridge took to Twitter to state that he never agreed to have his words used by the newspaper and said that he was considering legal action.
He said: "I'm utterly fuming that an interview I did for the TV yesterday has been HIJACKED on the social media by that RAG we don't name!!!
"And you all should know better than to think I'd go there.I wouldn't wipe my backside on it,96 reasons why!NEVER FORGET!
"Trying to find out the source, and see of it's legal with what they done.I can't tell you how livid I am."
