Liverpool's Mario Balotelli expresses love for the Spice Girls on Twitter

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli suggests on social media that he is a fan of British '90s girlband the Spice Girls.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has given fans an insight into his music preferences by writing Spice Girls song lyrics on social media.

The 24-year-old has been under scrutiny since his £16m move from AC Milan to Anfield, as he has struggled to find form on the pitch.

Despite having just two Liverpool goals to his name, the Italy international appears to remain in high spirits.

On Twitter, the striker posted a conversation from his Instagram page where he was sharing lyrics from the '90s girlband.

Alongside the image, Balotelli wrote: "Is it for real??? lol"
