Liverpool's new captain Jordan Henderson has been voted cover star for the UK version of EA Sports' video game FIFA 16.
The 25-year-old went up against Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero in the public vote.
It has now been confirmed by EA Sports that Henderson will grace the cover alongside four-time Ballon d'Or winner and Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi.
Upon hearing the result of the vote, Henderson tweeted: "Proud to have won the vote to be on the cover of @EASPORTSFIFA 16 ! Thank you to everyone who voted the support from you all was incredible! #FIFA16UKcover."
Earlier this afternoon, the midfielder was officially appointed Liverpool captain following Steven Gerrard's move to MLS club Los Angeles Galaxy.
