Liverpool's push to sign striker Samuel Eto'o has reportedly taken a major setback with the news that the ex-Chelsea player is to be quizzed by French police regarding allegations that he posted intimate images of his ex-girlfriend on the internet.
The Mirror cites reports in France where a Parisian judge has ruled that there are grounds to investigate the 33-year-old over claims that he published pictures on social networking websites.
This follows a complaint by Nathalie Koah, who accused the Cameroon international of "human trafficking, indecency, publishing obscene content, pimping, threats, blackmail and false declarations".
Eto'o has been a free agent since he was released by Chelsea at the end of last season.
