Greenwich pub renamed the 'Wheelchair Basketball'

A Greenwich pub is renamed the 'Wheelchair Basketball' for the duration of the Paralympic Games.

A Fuller pub in Greenwich has been renamed the 'Wheelchair Basketball' for the duration of the Paralympic Games in London.

The pub, originally known as The Pilot, has been holding a host of events and a raffle for charity since the Games began last week.

"It has been great so far," the pub's manager Beata Banaszak told the Morning Advertiser. "We are getting a lot of coverage which is very exciting and it is definitely going to bring a welcome boost for trade."

The pub, which has been in Greenwich for 200 years, decided on the name due to the number of basketball events being held in the North Greenwich Arena.
