Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton was honoured at the 2013 GQ Awards by being presented with the Lifetime Achievement award.
The 75-year-old was handed the honour by current United defender Rio Ferdinand for his contribution to sport during a ceremony at the Royal Opera House last night.
"I take all my pleasure these days from Manchester United," he said. "Except these last few days. I've been so lucky. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say thank you."
British boxer Carl Froch was named Sportsman of the Year, while Wimbledon champion Andy Murray scooped Achievement of the Year.
